Scott and I spent Christmas in San Diego with his family. A couple sisters came down from Utah and one from Mission Viejo. Saturday, Christmas Eve was so much fun! We went down to the tide pools at Bird Rock and then out to a Thai restaurant for dinner. We all still needed a few more things so we went to Target and actually found some great things! We all needed something for Grandma Carr and everywhere we went for what we wanted to get her was closed!!! We finally ended up at Rite Aid of all places and got her an Amazon gift card for her Kindle. It actually turned out to be great and we all had a great time together. It was a great weekend!!!

I have never found one of these in it's natural environment! I still haven't but Dad did!!! And I got to hold it! Aaaawesome!

He also found this cool squirmy thing! I thought it was a baby octopus at first but it wasn't and I can't think of the name but Father Carr teaches science and knows the names of everything!
At the end of our Christmas Eve adventure we stopped by the temple to see the lights and took a picture with the nativity scene. It was a beautiful sight.
