For our honeymoon we went on a 7 day cruise down the Mexican Riviera.
This is our room with our first towel animal: Erwin the elephant
Getting ready for the Captain's dinner.
Down in the dining area
"Yummy to my tummy"...Scott got a lot of seafood on our cruise which made him very happy!
They sang, "Happy Honeymoon to you" to the tune of "Happy Birthday" and they made us these super attractive napkin hats to wear and gave us a candle to blow out! Our servers were awesome!
A sunset picture
Scott promised me a massage on the ship a long time ago...but I convinced him to get one with me! They used hot oil and bamboo sticks to massage our knots from the wedding! Felt amazing! This is us looking QUITE relaxed afterward
Waiting for a most delicious breakfast on land in Cabo San Lucas
We ate almost all of this food for breakfast! Chilaquiles and beans, two carne and two chicken tacos (best food of the whole trip) with the best salsa verde and pico, four panqueques (pancakes) and cantelope...and bottled water so as not to get sick!
"There's a party in my tummy...so yummy!"
We walked around and found were we could rent a jet ski. My first time. We took turns driving and had soo much fun, especially catching air and seeing the famous arch.
The famous cabo arch behind our heads. We were able to get pretty close to it.
Then we got on another boat...we took a boat out to hop on this boat, so we could go parasailing! It was more entertaining to go together we decided...it is so peaceful up there you might get bored by yourself! We had fun looking around and talking and laughing
Cooling off after some dancing
Stop #2 The beautiful Puerto Vallarta...welcome...welcome
We found a cool taxi driver who totally got us the hook ups...mostly cause Scott spoke to him in Spanish almost the whole time. I actually understood much of it as well so I didn't even feel out of the loop...must be from sitting in Scott's spanish class during lunch everyday while he teaches!
We did the zip line in the jungle where Preditor with our dear govenator, was filmed. It was awesome and I got to go upside down and backwards at the same time! This is us getting ready...we're either thugs or about to scrub for surgery.
Our cabby
We got to see so many parts of the city because the jungle is a ways away from the beach. We saw ghetto and everyday areas to the luxurious compound where a drug lord, now captured use to live...according to our tour guide/cab driver.
What kind of animal do you think this is?
Our other dressy dinner night.
Our servers sang and danced with us on various occassions...so of course i joined in and scott cheered me on...silly
We had an awesome group of people that we ate with at dinner...dinner was always one of the best parts of the day! We enjoyed each other so much and ironically 3 of the 4 couples met online...crazy town!
A perfect ending to our cruise...Connecticut made it to the finals and ended up winning the championship...so a pretty good year so far for Scotty...Now if the Chargers can just have a winning season...
